West End Little League PA Clearances

Pennsylvania State Law requires any volunteer that may come in contact with a minor to be cleared for child abuse history and criminal background history. If you have lived in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania continuously for the past ten years, all you need to complete are the Child Abuse Clearance, the Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check, and an affidavit you have resided in PA for ten consecutive years. If you have not lived in Pennsylvania for at least ten years, then you must also undergo an FBI Criminal History Clearance that requires fingerprints. The first two clearances are processed at no cost to you. If you require the FBI clearance, there is a processing fee. Then complete one of the following (whichever applies to your situation):
- For those who have not lived in PA for 10 or more years: FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance (initiate this request via IdentoGO): https://www.identogo.com/ (when registering, use Service Code: 1KG6ZJ)
- For those who have lived in PA for at least 10 years: complete this affidavit

In addition to the above clearances, all Little League volunteers must be cleared through Little League's background investigation system, First Advantage. When you apply to volunteer as a Manager, Coach, Umpire, Team Parent, or Board Member, you must complete a Volunteer Application. West End Little League will enter your information in Little League Inc's First Advantage system to conduct a multi-state records check. The results of this check, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania clearances, will be used to process your Volunteer Application.
